On my walk this morning to the Kennedy Center, I passed the Watergate Building. It is a beautiful day today.

This seminar is awesome!  I love being in Washington D.C. and being at the Kennedy Center.  I have met a Russian woman whose art form is Russian nesting dolls. I have met a metal sculptor from Yonkers, New York. I have met a storyteller from Evanston, Illinois.

So much exciting information and energy.

I will leave you with the Kennedy Center’s definition of Arts Integration:

Arts Integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.

View of Arlington Cemetery from the Kennedy Center. It was comforting to say good morning to my parents, who are buried together at Arlington. I am going to visit them while I am in D.C.

I love this country.
