Holy Ground

  1. I’ve started to leave a comment a few times. I’m saddened with you in the loss of your mother. I know it’s been a long journey for both of you. As I’ve mentioned, my mom was also diagnosed with a brain tumor back in ’07. She is still with us but isn’t the person I knew. Still, I would imagine the finality of passing brings another facet of grief. If it’s any consolation, I can see her in you … via your photos. In this way and in your love for her, she lives on in some way. Every blessing for you … for peace and healing in your grief. Perhaps, from your posts, I can learn something about dealing with my mother’s passing … when it comes. Hugs to you, dear.

    • Thank you Terri. Sorry for just getting back to you. It has been a very intense month and a half. Your kind words are very comforting. In fact, that was one of the things I said to my mom when I was on the phone with her before she passed — “I have your genes. You will always be a part of me and I will always be a part of you.”

Thank you for commenting; it means a lot to me. I am glad we connected here.
