What can it be?

I have fed him at 9:30 and at 11:00 – he still cries. Everytime I put him down he starts to fuss and cry.  We have changed his diaper – still he cries.

He only stops crying when he is being held by mommy.

Yet he won’t go to sleep.

Is this an attachment thing or something else? Usually he only cries when he is hungry or needs to be changed.  This is new.  He seems to like falling asleep on Mom’s or Dad’s shoulder.  We burp him enough for it not to be gas…

hmm… I just want to sleep my three hours until the next feeding. I’ll take my three hours even though no REM is involved. Daddy has the baby now and has him settled down.  Goodnight! Enjoy your dreams!

  1. It’s called the Peroid of Purple Crying. A baby can cry for up to five hours a day and be completly fine. here is what Purple stands for:
The Letters in PURPLE Stand for
    Peak of Crying
    Unexpected
    Resists Soothing
    Pain-like Face
    Long Lasting
    Evening
It will pass soon, just know your a fantastic mom.
