This is the link to a video of some of the images I want to put in a book I am trying to get published. The book is called The Original Journal. I have been doing this for ten plus years. The Original Journal is a best of collection of these journal signings. The just of it is this: I ask strangers to sign my journal. I approach a stranger, ask them to sign my journal, tell them there are three rules. These are the three rules:
1. There is a Front Door, Rated PG-13
2. There is a Back Door, Not Yet Rated
3. There are no rules!
Journal Your Journey
Although I have thought about having quotes typed, I prefer them handwritten. I think the fact that they are written in the person’s own handwriting makes them more interesting and real. If you would like to particupate in this project, you can! Really. I would love for you to sign the journal. All you have to do is pretend you are signing my journal and I have told you the 3 rules above. Then take a photo with your cell phone or camera and upload and e-mail me your Front Door or Back Door thought, written in your own handwriting, to memomuse@gmail.com. Just put “The Original Journal Project” as the subject title. Or maybe I will run into you on the street and ask you to sign the journal myself. Journal Your Journey!
