I have survived and keep going. I think I have accepted my situation and once the anger was gone; it has been replaced with a peace. I do not stress and fret over things any longer. Life goes on, but grief stands still. Thank you for your kind words. He of course, like everyone, had his dark side. He was deeply scarred from living through one of the worst battles in Marine Corps history (Inchon). He is a member of the Frozen Chosen from the Korean War. I love him dearly and miss him. Sadly, when I wrote this post, my mother passed away ten days later. I am just beginning to emerge from the cocoon of grief, very slowly. But like I said, life goes on. I am still a mother and wife. I am still a writer. I am still a teacher. I am still alive.
